Jason Dean Greenwood, age 40 of Williamsport, died at 7:50 p.m. on Thursday, April 14, 2011 at Wishard Memorial Hospital in Indianapolis, IN.
Jason was born on December 19, 1970. He was the son of Dr. Gary and Lisa Greenwood and Charlotte (Brown) and Bud Vibbert. He had lived most of his life in Warren County. He graduated from Seeger Memorial High School in 1989 and later attended Greenville and Goshen Colleges and Purdue University.
Jason attended Wabash Valley Bible Baptist Church. He loved dogs. He like golfing and basketball and loved to run.
Surviving are, parents, Dr. Gary Greenwood (wife: Lisa) of West Lebanon and Charlotte Vibbert (husband: Bud) of Williamsport; 1 brother, Todd Greenwood (wife: Kathie) of Plainfield, IN; 2 sisters, Michelle Clark of Williamsport and Casey Hampton (husband: Ted) of Indianapolis, IN; niece, Sophia Greenwood; nephew, Nathan Storm; aunts and uncles, Craig and Kathy Greenwood, Sue Cronk, Robert and Pam Brown all of Williamsport. Jason was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Elmer “Jack” and Alma Greenwood, and maternal grandparents, Clarence & Estella “Susie” Brown.
Visitation will be at Wabash Valley Bible Baptist Church on Monday, April 18, 2011 from 11:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m. with Pastors J. Dave Adams, Joe Humrichous, and Mark Thompson officiating. Interment will be at West Lebanon Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to a homeless shelter of the donor’s choice or the House of Hope, 5525 W US Highway 40, Brazil, IN 47834-7220.
