Tyler D. Potts, age 25 of rural Williamsport died at 12:33 p.m. on Sunday, July 10, 2011 at St. Vincent Williamsport Hospital due to injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. Tyler was born on February 15, 1986 in Danville, IL. He was the son of Larry D. and Melinda R. (White) Potts. He graduated from Seeger High School in 2004 and later attended Wabash College majoring in education and Ivy Tech in Lafayette studying CNC machining. Tyler attended West Lebanon Nazarene Church. He had worked at TMF Center since 2005 as a quality inspector. He was a 10 year 4-H member in cattle and was a Cub Scout. He was a member of the high school wrestling and football teams. He was the starting center on the 2003 state runner up team. He was a member of Delta Tau Delta at Wabash College. Tyler loved the outdoors and fishing and was an avid hunter and golfer. He loved motorcycles and 4 wheelers and was a member of ABATE. He was a Seeger Jr. High wrestling coach. He was passionate about the UFC and a die hard IU and Colts fan. He loved his dogs, Weezy, Jasmine, Kate, and Cammy. Surviving are with his parents are, 1 sister, Stephanie Potts (fiancé: Josiah Eller) of Lafayette, IN; maternal grandparents, Walter & Earlene White of West Lebanon; paternal grandparents, Charles & Janet Potts of Veedersburg; uncles and aunt, Mark White (fiancé: Michelle Huller) of West Lebanon; Mike Potts (wife: Pamela) of rural Williamsport; and Charlie Potts of Veedersburg; and cousins, Evan, Ethan and Elizabeth Potts of rural Williamsport and Ashley Potts of Crawfordsville, IN. Visitation will be at Seeger Fine Arts Center in West Lebanon on Wednesday, July 13, 2011 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Services will be there on Thursday, July 14, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Steve Pearce officiating. Interment will be at West Lebanon Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to the Tyler Potts Memorial Scholarship Fund at Old National Bank.
