Roger W. Warren

Roger W. Warren, age 60 of Williamsport, died on Saturday, July 16, 2011 at his home. Roger was born in Williamsport on January 18, 1951. He was the son of Leck Warren and Viola Mae (Lanham) Warren Ottinger. He was a lifelong Warren County resident. He married Brenda Knipe and they later divorced. Roger served in the U.S. Army in Germany during Vietnam. He worked for RMC in Attica and later Purdue University in building services retiring from there. He enjoyed visiting with his grandchildren and watching NBA and IU sports. Surviving with his mother are, 1 daughter, Shelley Moody (husband: Greg) of Williamsport; 1 son, Adrian Warren of Williamsport; 3 brothers, Robin Warren (wife: Beverly) of Dayton, IN, Russell Warren (wife: Karen) of Plainfield, IN, and Robert “Steve” Warren of Attica, IN; 2 sisters, Linda Groleau of Attica and Lisa Hollis (husband: Harold) of Pine Village, IN; and 3 grandchildren, Mahaly, Ethan, and Makenzie Moody. Roger was preceded in death by his father. Visitation will be at Grady Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 20, 2011 from noon until service time at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Paul Stamm officiating. Interment will be at Highland Cemetery in Williamsport with full military honors. Memorial contributions may be made to the family to offset funeral expenses.
