Felix E. Hembree, Jr., age 68 of Tab, IN died at 5:30 a.m. on Monday, August 01, 2011 at Francisan St. Elizabeth Health East.
Felix was born in Coxton, KY on March 6, 1943. He was the son of Felix E. Hembree, Sr. and Vicie Lou Bennett Hembree. On October 7, 1961 he married Hazel L. Baumgardner in Sneedville, TN. She survives.
Felix served in the Army during Vietnam. He retired from General Motors. He was a member of Antwerp Baptist Church in Antwerp, OH and the VFW Post #3318 in Attica, IN. He enjoyed his grandchildren, eating ice cream with them and going fishing. He liked to hear his daughter, Jessica, and granddaughter, Makaila, sing. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, woodworking, working on cars, and riding on his Harley Davidson motorcycle.
Surviving with his wife, Hazel of 50 years, are

Brothers and sisters, Rebecca Krick, Wayne Hembree, Margie Krick, Ella Dalton, Walt Hembree, and Marie Winkler
Felix was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers, Bill Hembree, Grant Hembree and Danny Tramel.
Visitation will be at Grady Funeral Home in Williamsport on Wednesday, August 3, 2011 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Services will be there in the chapel on Thursday, August 4, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastors Rod Andrews and Dave Vanaman officiating. Interment will be at West Lebanon Cemetery with full military honors.
