Beulah Marie (Myers) Pugh, age 83 of Williamsport, IN, died at 3:48 p.m. on Wednesday, September 7, 2011 at the Williamsport Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She had been in failing health the past 3 years.
Beulah was born near Tab, IN on March 26, 1928. She was the daughter of Carl B. and Buryl (Goodwine) Myers. She was a 1946 graduate of Ambia High School. On June 2, 1946 she married Dick Pugh in Ambia, IN. He preceded her in death on February 18, 1997.
Beulah was a housewife and loving mother. She managed the Williamsport Community Pool for many years and was a teacher’s aide at the Williamsport Elementary School, seeming to know every child in town. She was a member of the Williamsport Christian Church where she was a musician for over 50 years. She was initiated into the Order of Easter Star Jordan Chapter #242 where was past worthy matron. She received her 50 year member pin from the OES West Lebanon Chapter #162. She was an avid bowler and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

2 daughters, Marjorie Slauter (husband: Mark) of Greenwood, IN and Marlena K. Pugh of Williamsport
1 brother, Everett Myers of Williamsport
2 grandchildren, Carey Slauter (wife: Carla) of Greenwood, IN and Cristopher Slauter of Indianapolis, IN
Great-grandchildren, Hannah, Natalie, Madison, Morgan, and Maxwell
Beulah was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and sister, Marjorie Myers.
Visitation will be at Grady Funeral Home in Williamsport on Sunday, September 11, 2011 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. with an OES service at 7:45 p.m. Services will be at the Williamsport Christian Church on Monday, September 12, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. with Pastors Don Williams and Jesse Stoner officiating. Interment will be at Rainsville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Williamsport Christian Church or the Tab Christian Church.
