Patrica S. Ice

Patricia S. (Eberle) Ice, age 77 of West Lafayette, died at 6:15 A.M. on Wednesday, July 25, 2007 from a traffic accident. Patricia was born on November 5, 1929 in Pine Village, IN. She was the daughter of Leroy and Ruth B. (Atkinson) Eberle. She lived in Otterbeing 17 years before moving to Battleground in 1981. She lived in Montmorenci for the past 10 years. Patricia was a 1947 graduate of Pine Village High School. She was married to William A. Ice and they had 2 daughters. Patricia worked in duplicating at Purdue University for several years. She later worked at the service desk at the West Lafayette Kmart store before retiring from there in 1999. Patricia was a member of the Otterbein United Methodist Church. She was very active in the church and also worked their food pantry. She was also a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary #8596 of Oxford, IN. Surviving are 2 daughters, Suzanne Holder (husband: Monte) of West Lafayette and Elaine Foster (husband: Kenny) of Otterbein; 1 brother, Dick Eberle (wife: Donna) of Pine Village, IN; 1 sister, Rosemary Booth of Tucson, AZ; 1 grandson, Cris Royal (wife: Shonda) of Flora, IN; 2 granddaughters, Nicole Plummer (husband: Steve) of Otterbein, IN and Ashley Crow (husband: James) of West Lafayette, IN; 1 step-grandson, Brian Holder of West Lafayette, IN; 8 great-grandchildren; 2 nieces and 2 nephews. Visitation will be at Otterbein United Methodist Church on Friday, July 27, 2007 from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. EDT. Services will be there in the chapel on Saturday, July 28, 2007 at 10:00 A.M. EDT with Rev. David Smitley officiating. Interment will be at Pine Village Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Otterbein United Methodist Church.
