Ida May (VanPelt) Walker age 96 of rural Marshfield, IN died at 12:05 p.m. on Sunday, December 4, 2011 at the St. Vincent Williamsport Hospital. Ida May was born near Marshfield, IN on May 23, 1915. She was the daughter of Ittia Uriah and Anna Leona Catterlin VanPelt. Ida May had attended West Lebanon High School and was a life resident of Warren County. Ida May was a loving caregiver to all, and devoted her life to her children and grandchildren. Surviving are, 6 children, Ridge Clark of Florida, Charlotte Clark-Howard of Tilton, IL, Garnet Fox (husband: Dick), of Marshfield, IN, Duggen Walker (wife: Vicki) of Marshfield, IN, Norma Adams (husband: Jim) of Florida, and Brenda Newlin of Williamsport, IN. 5 brothers and sisters, Sally Price of Lafayette, IN, Frankie VanPelt, of Lafayette, IN, Buck VanPelt of West Lebanon, IN, Tunie VanPelt, of rural Marshfield, IN, and Pudgie Lee of Terre Haute, IN 22 grandchildren 40 great-grandchildren 20 great-great grandchildren 2 great-great-great grandchildren Ida May was preceded in death by 1 son, Ed Clark, 1 daughter, Debbie Sue Cobbs, 6 sisters, 3 brothers, 2 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be at Grady Funeral Home in Williamsport on Wednesday, December 7, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. until service time at 8:00 p.m. with her brother Buck VanPelt speaking.
