Ferna Alice Huckabee

Ferna Alice (Ward) Huckabee age 66 of Williamsport died at 7:31 p.m. on Sunday, July 29, 2007 at St. Vincent Williamsport Hospital. Ferna was born in Auburn, CA on March 10, 1941 to Charles F and Elizabeth Evans Ward. She spent most of her life and graduated high school from California. She had lived in North Carolina before moving to Williamsport in 2003, and later becoming a resident of The Waters of Williamsport. Ferna married Kenneth Alexander Huckabee in 1969 and he preceded her in death in 2004. She served in the health care field as a LVN. Ferna was a member of Order of the Eastern Star, Goodfellows, DEMA, and Job’s Daughters. She enjoyed knitting, reading and working with her hands. Surviving are 1 son, James W Huckabee (Wife:Somkhouane “Tui”), Raleigh, NC; 1 daughter, Elizabeth Jane Stumph (Husband: Jeffery), Williamsport, IN; and 6 grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband Kenneth Huckabee. Private family services were held.
