Russell Dean “Hoot” Wesley, age 63 of Williamsport, died at 4:22 P.M. on Sunday, September 30, 2007 at St. Vincent Hospital Indianapolis.
Russell was born on August 1, 1944 in Williamsport. He was the son of Edward D. and Matilda Lee (Moore) Wesley. He was a resident of Warren County most of his life living briefly in Lafayette where he graduate from Lafayette Jefferson High School.
Russell retired from the state highway department. He was a member of the Eagles Lodge #2596 of Attica and Moose Lodge #1482. He enjoyed woodworking.
Surviving are, 1 son, Brad Wesley (wife: Lori) of Attica; 1 daughter, April Wesley of Lafayette; 4 brothers, William W. Wesley (wife: Pat) of Humboult, TN; Millard T. Wesley (wife: Ann) of Kramer, IN; Jasper C. Wesley (wife: Dorothy) of Williamsport; and Roy Wesley (wife: Linda) of West Lebanon; and 5 grandchildren, Jackob, Jalesa, Trista, Trinity and Wyatt. Russell was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, Ray and Archie Wesley and 1 sister, Lucille Bowers.
Visitation will be at Grady Funeral Home in Williamsport from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. EDT on Wednesday, October 3, 2007. Services will be there in the chapel on Thursday, October 4, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. with Minister Bruce Thornsbrough officiating. Interment will be at West Lebanon Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
