Aaron M. Miles, age 31 of Williamsport, IN died at 8:15 A.M. at St. Vincent Hospital Indianapolis on Sunday, October 28, 2007.
Aaron was born on March 7, 1976 in Danville, IL. He was the son of Dick Miles and Bertie (Oteham) Scott. Aaron was a 1994 graduate of Seeger High School and had attended Ivy Tech.
Aaron was the owner and operator of Miles Lawn Care. Aaron had AML leukemia and was a stem cell transplant patient. He contributed to the science of Graft-versus-Host disease paving the way for future generations. He was a mentor to other cancer patients.
Surviving are, 1 son, Carson Daniel Miles of Attica, IN; his mother and stepfather, Bertie and Jeff Scott of Attica, IN; his father, Dick Miles of West Lebanon, IN; companion, Pam Bryant of Montezuma, IN; 1 brother, Rich Miles (wife: Cyndy) of San Diego, CA; step-brothers, Shad Scott (wife: Chelle) of Lafayette and Clint Scott (wife: Beverly) of Atlanta, GA; step-sister, Casey Landes (husband: Jon) of Houston, TX; and grandparents, Bob Oteham (wife: Pat) and Judy Oteham all of Williamsport, IN. Aaron was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bill & June Miles.
Visitation will be held at Grady Funeral Home in Williamsport on Sunday, November 4, 2007 from 1:00 P.M. EST until service time of 3:00 P.M. EST with Dick Zehe officiating. In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial donations be made to the Williamsport-Washington Public Library or the Attica Public Library for Carson’s love of books.
