H. Lynn Richey

H. Lynn Richey, age 86 of Franklin, IN, formerly of Williamsport, died at 7:29 a.m. on Thursday, November 29, 2012 at the Indiana Masonic Home in Franklin. Lynn was born on April 10, 1926 in Scottsburg, IN. He was the son of Larry and Bertha Richey. He attended Ambia school and was a Warren County resident most of his life until 2007 when he moved to the Indiana Masonic Home. He married Iris Youngblood on April 27, 1947 at the Tab Christian Church. She survives. Lynn was a farmer all of his life. He was an active member of the Tab Christian Church where he had previously served as a deacon. He was a member of the F&AM Lodge Boswell, which later joined the F&AM Lodge Pine Village, receiving his 50 year pin. Surviving with his wife, Iris, are 1 son, Tom Richey (wife: Karen) of Plymouth, IN; 2 grandsons, Wess Richey (wife: Kim) of Plymouth, IN and Shane Richey (wife: Gretchen) of LaPorte, IN; and 1 great-granddaughter, Dallas Richey of LaPorte, IN. Lynn was preceded in death by 2 sisters. Visitation will be at Grady Funeral Home in Williamsport on Tuesday, December 4, 2012 from noon until service time at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Rod Andrews officiating. A Masonic service will be held at 12:50 p.m. Interment will be at Boswell Cemetery. The family requests no flowers and that memorial contributions please be made to the Tab Christian Church.
