Doris Marie Inman

Doris Marie (Murphy) Inman, age 90 of West Lebanon, IN died at 3:30 A.M. on Saturday, January 26, 2008 at Woodland Manor Nursing Home in Attica, IN where she had resided since August 10, 2007. Doris was born in Warren County, IN on July 26, 1917. She was the daughter of Bruce and Ida Murphy Gee. She attended Marshfield and West Lebanon Schools. Doris was a lifelong resident of Warren County and lived in West Lebanon since 1995. On November 21, 1936 she married Logan Inman in Decatur, IL. He preceded her in death on August 31, 1977. Doris was a homemaker. She was a member of the West Lebanon Church of the Nazarene. Doris enjoyed collecting bells and salt and pepper shakers. She loved to read. Surviving are, 2 sons, Jim Inman (wife: Linda) of Huntington Beach, CA and Joe Inman (wife: Carole) of Lyles, TN; 2 daughters, Wilma Lytle (husband: Leonard) of Attica, IN and Mary Jo Maxwell of Veedersburg, IN; 4 brothers and 3 sisters, Cynthia Simonton of West Lebanon, IN, Eva Gee of New Ross, IN, Ann Wesley (husband: Millard) of Kramer, IN, Howard Gee (wife: Mary) of Williamsport, IN, Dick Gee (wife: Tiny) of Marshfield, IN, Frank Gee (wife: Mary) of Williamsport, IN, and Bruce Gee (wife: Pat) of Covington, IN; 13 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Doris was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 brothers, Gordon and David Gee, and 2 sisters, Rosa Simonton and Luella Beardsley. Graveside funeral services will be held for family and friends at the West Lebanon Cemetery on Monday, January 28, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. EST with her brother, Frank Gee, officiating. Interment will be at West Lebanon Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the West Lebanon Church of the Nazarene or the donor’s choice.
