Virginia "Ginny" E. Ward

Virginia “Ginny” E. Ward, age 43 of Williamsport, IN died at 4:16 p.m. on Monday, December 24, 2012 at her residence after an extended illness. Ginny was born on November 10, 1969 in Lafayette, IN. She was the daughter of Byron and Iris (Swetnam) Scott. She had previously lived in Veedersburg, Crawfordsville, and Hillsboro and had been in Williamsport the past 7 years. She graduated from Fountain Central High School and IVY Tech School of Nursing. Ginny had worked as a nurse at the Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital and University Place. Surviving are, 2 sons, Cody James Ward and Cameron David Ward; and 2 sisters, Claire Voohees and Kathy Pithoud. Ginny was preceded in death by her parents, Byron and Iris Scott. Visitation will be at Grady Funeral Home in Williamsport on Saturday, December 29, 2012 from 1:00 p.m. until the memorial service at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Diana Sturm officiating. The family asks that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to Grady Funeral Home to offset funeral expenses.
