Albert B. Cronkhite

Albert B. Cronkhite, age 95 of Covington, IN died at 8:20 a.m. on Sunday, December 30, 2012 at Williamsport Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Albert was born on April 27, 1917 near Marshfield, IN. He was the son of Clarence Earl and Edna Jane (Hickman) Cronkhite. He resided in Warren and Fountain Counties all of his life. Albert was a farmer. He also worked at Davies Meat Packing in Danville, IL and Harrison Steel Casting Company in Attica, IN. He enjoyed hunting and trapping. Surviving are, 1 sister, Helen Salts of Williamsport, IN and several nieces and nephews. Albert was preceded in death by 1 brother, Gene Cronkhite, and 3 sisters, infant Eleanor Cronkhite, Alice Williamson, and Vivian Pearl Dowers. Visitation will be at Grady Funeral Home in West Lebanon on Thursday, January 3, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Services will be there in the chapel on Friday, January 4, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. with Minister Bruce Thornsbrough officiating. Interment will follow at West Lebanon Cemetery.
