Charles Bradley Anderson Jr. died suddenly at the home of his parents, Charles and Janet Anderson, on Thursday, January 3, 2013.
Brad was born on May, 30, 1962 at Lafayette Home Hospital and spent his younger life living in Otterbein, Montmorenci, and Williamsport, Indiana.
Brad graduated from Seeger Memorial High School and Purdue University. Brad greatly enjoyed his days at Purdue taking classes and rooting on the Boilermaker football and basketball teams. He also rarely missed a Colts game. He was an avid reader, especially of WWI and WWII history. Brad was a huge racing fan. He attended many NASCAR, Indy Car races, and F1 Series races. Brad’s absolute greatest joy in life was spending time with his nieces and nephews.
Brad worked for 10 years as a therapy rehabilitation director at Regency Place in Lafayette as well as a facility in Iowa. More recently, he held multiple jobs in the Williamsport area.
Brad is survived by his parents Charles and Janet Anderson of Williamsport; his brother Brian, Brian’s wife Lisa (Blacketer) and their two children Gabe and Maggie of Lafayette; and his sister Chris Klinge, her husband John, and their three children Jack, Matthew, and Madison of West Lafayette.
Brad will be greatly missed by his family.
There will be a visitation for Brad at the Williamsport United Methodist Church Wednesday, January 9th at 4pm with a memorial service starting at 5pm with Rev. Cathy McCoy officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to “His Shelter” at the Williamsport United Methodist Church.
