Hazel E. (Williams) Craft, age 72 of West Lebanon, died at 10:18 p.m. on Sunday, January 20, 2013 at the home of her daughter, Jennifer. Hazel was born on April 7, 1940 in Cayuga, IN. She was the daughter of Elswood and Sadie (Price) Williams. She attended Cayuga High School and resided most of her life in that area. She moved to West Lebanon in 2003. On July 20, 1957 she married Elvin Craft in Cayuga. He preceded her in death on May 1, 2003. Hazel was a homemaker and enjoyed exercising, puzzles, and crocheting. She loved playing the piano especially classical music. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and family. Surviving are, 4 children, Penny Snyder (husband: Duane) of Fishers, IN, Mike Craft (wife: Melissa) of Terre Haute, Jennifer Hobaugh and Rob Craft (wife: Dana) both of West Lebanon; 1 brother, Walter Black (wife: Betty) of Attica, IN; 1 sister, June Hargrove (husband: Howard) of West Lebanon, IN; 8 grandchildren, Jim Hicks (wife: Lacy) of Bloomington, IL, Joe Hicks (wife: Kim) of Fishers, IN, Andy Hobaugh of West Lebanon, IN, Angie Hobaugh of Indianapolis, IN, Brittany Craft of Avon, IN, Lacy Craft of Terre Haute, IN, Megan Jackson (husband: Alex) of Noblesville, IN, and Casey Craft of West Lebanon, IN; 4 great-grandchildren, Trevor Hicks, Owen Hicks, Lynley Hicks, and Maddox Kirts; 2 very close nieces, Marilyn Campbell (husband Charles) of Danville, IL and Linda Ogle of Veedersburg, IN; and companion, her dog, Webster. Hazel was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers, and 4 sisters. Visitation will be at Grady Funeral Home in Williamsport on Wednesday, January 23, 2013 from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. with a graveside service at Thomas Cemetery, Newport, IN at 3:00 p.m. with Minister Bruce Thornsbrough officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Premier Hospice & Palliative Care, 1769 E. Lincoln, Bldg. A, Kokomo, IN 46902 or the Warren County Community Foundation.
