William E. Clarkston

William E. Clarkston, age 64 of Wellington, IL died at Presence Health in Danville, IL on Sunday, June 16, 2013. He was born on December 19, 1948 in Harveysburg, IN. He was the son of William and Edna Burke Clarkston. William attended Kingman High School and married Vickie Longest Clarkston on February 26, 1978. She survives. He worked for Fountain Foundry in Veedersburg. William loved to go camping and fishing. Surviving with his wife, are, 3 children, Heither Williams (wife: Donald) of MO; William E. Clarkston, Jr. (wife: Leslie) of Mellott, IN; and George Clarkston of Wellington, IL; several nieces and nephews; 2 brothers, James Clarkston of Brazil, IN and Roger Clarkston (wife: Frances) of Veedersburg, IN; 3 sisters, Patricia Tibbett (husband: Terry) of Covington, IN; Betty Lou Rahm (husband: Rick) of Stringtown, IN; and Mattie Mae Fouty (husband: Larry) of Indianapolis, IN; and 3 grandchildren, Kayla, Karna, and Kendra Williams. William was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, infant brother, and sister-in-law, Lori Clarkston. A memorial services will be held at Williamsport United Methodist Church on Saturday, June 22, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Clint Fink officiating. Private interment will follow at Highland Cemetery in Williamsport at a later date.
