Stuart Kenneth “Kenny” Ehler, II, age 66 of Williamsport, passed away unexpectedly at 6:46 a.m. on Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at his residence.
Kenny was born October 15, 1946 in Williamsport, IN. He was the son of Stuart Kenneth Ehler, Sr. and Helen Elizabeth (Rush) Ehler. He was a lifelong resident of Warren County graduating from Seeger High School in 1965. Kenny married Rebecca Jo Wagner on July 26, 1969 in Williamsport, IN and she survives.
Kenny was a lifelong Warren County farmer. He was a crop insurance adjuster for Nau Country Insurance for 11 years retiring in 2013. He was a member of the Williamsport Christian Church, past Master of the F&AM Lodge #38 Williamsport and was a current member of F&AM #352 West Lebanon. He was a member of the Board of Supervisors Warren County Soil Conservation District and precinct committeeman for Liberty Township. He also served on the MSD School Board for 8 years. He was an instructor for 4-H Shooting Sports and enjoyed hunting. He loved watching his grandchildren’s activities. His family was his life.
Surviving with his wife, Rebecca, are
2 daughters, Jan E. Briles (husband: Andy) and Kimberly J. Havel (companion: Mark Hutson) both of Williamsport
2 brothers, Archie Ehler (wife: Jane) and Donald Ehler (wife: Patricia) both of rural Williamsport
4 grandchildren, Aaron Briles, Kendall Briles, Haley Briles and Karter Briles
Step-grandson, Alexander Hutson
Kenny was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be at Grady Funeral Home in Williamsport on Friday, September 27, 2013 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. with a Masonic service at 8:00 p.m. Services will be there in the chapel on Saturday, September 28, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Don Williams officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery in Williamsport. Memorial contributions may be made to the Seeger FFA or the Hunter Education Funds.
