Jeffery "Jeff" W. Barnhart

Jeffery “Jeff” W. Barnhart, age 53 of Williamsport, IN died at 10:49 a.m. on Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. Jeff was born in Williamsport, IN on October 29, 1959. He was the son of Leroy E. and Evelyn Louise (Stout) Barnhart. He was a Warren County resident all of his life and a 1978 graduate of Seeger High School. Jeff was a farmer, and had worked for Stewart Grain and Williamsport Elementary School. Jeff was a member of the Williamsport Christian Church. He enjoyed gardening and taking care of farm animals especially poultry and dairy cows. He loved collecting tools and enjoyed old family photos. His favorite movie was the Wizard of Oz and favorite TV show was Andy Griffith. Surviving are, father, Leroy E. Barnhart of West Lebanon, IN; 2 sons, Ramey Barnhart of Lafayette, IN and Kyle Barnhart, who is studying philosophy at Indiana State University in Terre Haute, IN; and 4 brothers, Stephen L. Barnhart of Nashville, TN, Rick Barnhart (wife: Carla) of Lafayette, IN, Mike Barnhart (wife: Lori) of Williamsport, IN, and Kevin Scott Barnhart of West Lebanon, IN. Jeff was preceded in death his mother, Evelyn Barnhart, uncle, Gerald Stout, and maternal and paternal grandparents. Visitation will be at Grady Funeral Home in Williamsport on Saturday, October 26, 2013 from noon until 2:00 p.m. Private graveside service will be held at a later date at Highland Cemetery in Williamsport, IN with Pastor Don Williams officiating. In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial contributions be made to the Williamsport Christian Church.
