OBITUARY (For Immediate Release0 Dateline: West Lebanon, IN Helen L. (Meyer) Booher, age 65 of West Lebanon, IN died peacefully at 3:30 a.m. on Sunday, November 17, 2013 at her residence. Helen was born on May 21, 1948 in Danville, IL. She was the daughter of James A. and Clara (Meeks) Meyer. She graduated from Danville High School in Danville, IL. She previously lived in Edgar County, IL and Warren County since 1976. On May 10, 1969 she married Gary Allen Booher in Danville, IL. He preceded her in death on October 2, 2005. Helen worked form 1973 until retirement in 1993 working in food court and Little Caesar’s in Kmart in Danville, IL. She then worked for Old National Bank in the Covington, Williamsport and West Lebanon locations. She attended Williamsport United Methodist Church. Helen was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary West Lebanon and volunteer at His Mission Clothing Room. She loved crossword puzzles, music, collecting coins and antique pencil sharpeners. Surviving are, 3 children, James Booher (wife: D. Spivey) of West Lebanon, IN, Rebecca Roberts (husband: Mark) of Ninety-Six, SC, and Barbara Bennett (husband: Jeff) of Heyworth, IL Mother, Clara Meyer of Danville, IL Siblings, Bill Meyer and Larry Meyer both of Sarasota, FL, James Meyer, Michael Meyer, Monte Meyer, Randall Meyer, Robin Medlock (husband: Marvin), and Kelly Holtquist (husband: Tim) all of Danville, IL 8 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild Helen was preceded in death by her father, James Meyer. Visitation will be at Grady Funeral Home in West Lebanon, IN on Tuesday, November 19, 2013 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Services will be in the chapel on Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Dave Wickens officiating. Interment will follow at Walnut Corner in Bismarck, IL. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Foundation, Kidney Foundation, or Susan B. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
