Kenneth Wayne Hawn

OBITUARY (For Immediate Release) Dateline: Williamsport, IN Kenneth Wayne Hawn, age 76 of Williamsport, IN passed from this life at 2:55 a.m. on Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at home in the presence of his family. He was born January 5, 1937 in Dana, IN to the late David Glenn Hawn and Thelma (Petit) Hawn. Kenny served in the US Marines from January 1954 to January 1956, stationed in California. On December 15, 1956 he married Judith A. Cimino of Georgetown, IL. In addition to his loving wife, he leaves behind 3 children: daughter, Kenna Reynolds of Williamsport, IN; sons, David (Suzie Gookins) of Mellott, IN and Donald (JoAnn) of Williamsport, IN. Kenny is also survived by one grandson, Toby Reynolds of Williamsport, IN, and a brother, Robert (Shirley) Hawn of Georgetown, IL. Kenny retired from Harrison Steel Castings in 1999 after working 40 years. He treasured his children, grandson, and little dog, “Jacks”. He was a homebody who enjoyed spending time with his family, working on his vehicles, tinkering in his garage, and playing his musical instruments. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Delores Philips. There will be no services at this time. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
