Janet Ellen (Ricketts) Stewart

Janet Ellen (Ricketts) Stewart, age 75 of Williamsport, IN died at her residence at 1:10 p.m. on Saturday, December 14, 2013. Janet was born in West Lebanon, IN on March 28, 1938. She was the daughter of Hiram and Louise (Davis) Ricketts. She was a 1956 graduate of West Lebanon High School and a lifelong resident of Warren County. On June 8, 1958 she married Robert Ladd Stewart. He preceded her in death on March 3, 1984. Janet previously worked at Olin-Mathis and DriAll and was most recently the head accountant at REMC of Warren County retiring in 2008. She enjoyed bowling, shopping and collecting Boyd’s bears. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and watching their involvement in sports. Surviving are, 2 children, Kenneth J. Stewart (wife: Shari) of Attica, IN and Kelly A. Stewart of Las Vegas, NV 1 sister, Carolyn Taylor (husband: Charlie) of Lafayette, IN 3 grandchildren, Zackary Robert Ladd Stewart and Kodie Jo Stewart both of Attica, IN and Summer Malanowski of Las Vegas, NV Janet was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Visitation will be at Grady Funeral Home in Williamsport, IN on Tuesday, December 17, 2013 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Services will be there in the chapel on Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Duane Mycroft officiating. Interment will be at Highland Cemetery in Williamsport. IN. Memorial contributions may be made to the Attica Baseball Softball Association.
