Louise (Tremaine) Hickman, age 90 of Covington, IN, formerly of Marshfield, IN, died at 12:46 P.M. CDT on Saturday, June 14, 2008 at Provena USMC in Danville, IL. Louise was born on May 10, 1918 near Marshfield, IN. She was the daughter of Ira Wilbur and Marie Christine (Edens) Tremaine. She was a 1936 graduate of West Lebanon High School. On March 16, 1938 she married Howard Hickman in Williamsport. He survives. They resided in Marshfield until 1993 when they moved to Covington. Louise was a homemaker. She was a member of the Marshfield Presbyterian Church. Louise enjoyed canning, piece quilting and embroidering. She enjoyed spending time with her family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Surviving with her husband, Howard, are 1 son, Darrell Hickman (wife: Lillie Mae) of Covington; 1 daughter, Janice Brazeal (husband: Darrel) of Newport; 3 grandchildren, Sharon Grady (husband: Mikel) of Williamsport, Greg Hickman (wife: Carrie) of Danville, IL and Mark Hickman (wife: Megan) of Chicago, IL; and 3 great-grandchildren, Ethan Hickman and Emily and Shawn Grady. Louise was preceded in death by her parents, and infant brother, and infant sister. Visitation will be at Grady Funeral Home in Williamsport on Tuesday, June 17, 2008 from 6:00 P.M. EDT to 8:00 P.M. EDT. Services will be there in the chapel on Wednesday, June 18, 2008 at 1:00 P.M. EDT with Pastors Nick Clark and Judi Geistlinger officiating. Interment will be at Mount Hope Cemetery in Covington. Memorial donations may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Association.
