Kenneth Dean “Stick” Lundquist age 75 of Covington, IN died at 7:05 a.m. on Saturday, April 19, 2014 at the Waters of Covington.
Ken was born in Chicago, IL on June 27, 1938. He was the son of Ben and Loretta (Hess) Lundquist. He graduated from Brookston High School in 1957. Ken grew up in Duluth, MN and lived in Covington, IN the past 30 years. He was married to Liz Seaton for 30 years.
Ken was a mechanic and worked for Bill Smith Salvage in Danville, IL and later Clark Chevrolet retiring in 2008. He was a racecar driver in Boswell, IN and Danville, IL. He was a member of the Hedrick Church of God. He loved building street rods and drinking coffee with his friends at Lindee’s.
Ken is survived by his daughter, Eryka Lundquist of Covington, IN; brother, Lloyd Lundquist (wife: Karen) of Watertown, NY; and sister, Janice Peterson (husband: Dale) of Detroit Lakes, MN.
Ken was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Don Lundquist.
Visitation will be at Grady Funeral Home in Williamsport, IN on Sunday, April 27, 2014 from noon until memorial service time at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor David Cheatwood officiating.
