Lawrence "Jr." "Larry" E. Arnold, Jr.

Lawrence E. “Jr.” Larry” Arnold, Jr., age 69 of Covington, IN died at 9:25 p.m. on Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at Woodland Manor Nursing Center in Attica, IN. Jr. was born on January 28, 1945 in Williamsport, IN. He was the son of Lawrence E. “Kelly” and Flossie F. (Snell) Arnold. He was a 1963 graduate of Williamsport High School and later attended Danville Area Community College. He was a resident of Covington, IN most of his life. He married Dixie Lee Shumaker on December 12,1964 and she preceded him in death on January 23, 1997. Jr. worked as a millwright at GM Tilton Foundry till he retired in 1990. He later worked on various farms with Wright Farms being the most recent. He was a lifetime member of Amsoil and loved to farm and work on cars. Surviving are, His mother, Flossie Arnold of Williamsport, IN Children, Stacy S. Billingsley (husband: Rick) of Attica, IN, Lori A. Williams of Clinton, IL and Brian L. Arnold (wife: Becky) of Crawfordsville, IN Siblings, Leroy Arnold of San Diego, CA, Bernadine VonCannon (husband: Keith) of Dayton, OH, Wayne A. Arnold (wife: Sharon) of Williamsport, IN, Marilyn Imhof (husband: Mark) of Tucson, AZ, Vanna Ohm (husband: Victor) of San Jose, CA, and Jeffery F. Arnold of Arlington, WA Granddaughter, Nevaeh Williams of Clinton, IL Several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren Jr. was preceded in death by his father, wife, and son-in-law, Brian Williams. Visitation will be at Grady Funeral Home in Williamsport on Saturday, September 13, 2014 from 11:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Charles B. Anderson officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery in Williamsport, IN.
