Paul L. Peer

Paul L. Peer, age 78 of West Lebanon, IN died at 2:25 a.m. on Friday, November 28, 2014 at St. Vincent Hospital Indianapolis. Paul was born on December 9, 1935 in Newport, IN. He was the son of Harry and Marie (Davis) Peer. On June 30, 1957 he married Carolyn Russell. She survives. Paul worked for Harrison Steel in Attica, IN for 42 years and served on the West Lebanon Town Board for 8 years. He enjoyed the outdoors, camping, and fishing. He loved being with his family and grandchildren. Surviving with his wife, Carolyn, are, 3 children, Cathy L. Jones (Jeff) of Pine Village, IN, Connie D. Strickler of Williamsport, IN and Paul E. Peer (Rebecca) of Attica, IN; 1 sister, Sarah Peer; 1 brother, John Peer; 12 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren. Paul was preceded in death by 3 sisters, 1 brother and 1 grandchild. Visitation will be at Grady Funeral Home in Williamsport on Sunday, November 30, 2014 from 11:00 a.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m. with Louis Stein officiating. The family request that friends feel free to dress casual. Interment will follow at West Lebanon Cemetery.
