Jeanne O. (Davis) Foster

Jeanne O. (Davis) Foster, age 82 of Williamsport, IN passed away at 11:15 p.m. on Sunday, February 15, 2015 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis due to injuries after a fall at her home. Jeanne was born on the family farm near Judyville, IN on August 10, 1932. She was the daughter of Arnett C. and Edna (Malada) Davis. She was a 1950 Williamsport High School graduate. She was a lifelong resident of Warren County and married Dale Foster on September 21, 1950 in Williamsport. He survives. Jeanne was a farmwife and stay at home mom. She worked at the Williamsport Washington Township Public Library for several years retiring in 2010. She was a past member of the Judyville United Methodist Church for many years and was currently a member of the Hickman Heights Christian Church. She was a member of the Liberty Township Home Extension Club. She enjoyed reading, working crossword puzzles, and sewing. She loved her grandchildren and was always available for them. Surviving with her husband, are, 3 children, Maurice D. Foster (Connie) of Attica, IN, Linda Phillips of Kamiah, Idaho, and Nancy M. Taylor (Steve) of Lafayette, IN; several nieces and nephews; sister-in-law, Joyce Davis of Williamsport, IN; and 4 grandchildren, Stacey Foster (fiancé: Andrew Sharp), Eric Gower, Cole Taylor, and Brady Taylor. Jeanne was preceded in death by sister, Norma Oteham, brother, Arnett Earl Davis, and nephew, Denny Davis. Visitation will be at Grady Funeral Home in Williamsport, IN on Thursday, February 19, 2015 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Services will be there in the chapel on Friday, February 20, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Dave Keeton officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery in Williamsport, IN.
