William F. Biddle, age 94 of Williamsport, passed away at 2:30 p.m. on Monday, August 24, 2015 at the Williamsport Nursing and Rehab.
William was born in Attica, IN on November 22, 1920. He was the son of Oliver Biddle and Juanita Mae (Williams) Biddle Beedle Cook. He was a 1937 graduate of Attica High School. He was a longtime resident of Warren County and in later years had resided in Fountain County. He married Emma M. Farmer on May 10, 1941 in Williamsport. She preceded him in death on July 6, 2011.
He was a current member of the Attica United Methodist Church and a longtime and very active former member of the Williamsport United Methodist Church. William worked for many years at Harrison Steel Casting Company as a welder and crane operator. He also owned and operated a real estate and tax service in Attica for many years.
Surviving are 1 daughter, Ronda Snider (husband: Larry) of Williamsport, IN; 1 brother, Rupert Biddle of St. Louis, MO; 5 grandchildren, Curtis Wayne Snider, Kim Rayburn, Theresa Allison, Troy Biddle and Cory Biddle; 13 great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; and several cousins, nieces and nephews. William was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Billy Wayne Biddle, 3 sisters and 4 brothers.
A graveside service will be held at Highland Cemetery on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Charles B. Anderson officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Williamsport United Methodist Church Food Pantry.
