Anne (Alsip) Miller, age 75 of Danville, IL died at 6:27 p.m. CST on Thursday, February 12, 2009 at Carle Clinic Foundation Hospital in Urbana, IL.
Margaret Anne was born in Vermilion County, IL on June 17, 1933. She was the daughter of Stanley and Cecile (Cheuvront) Alsip. She was a 1952 graduate of Ogden High School. Anne was a resident of Ogden most of her life. She married Dennis M. Rogers on December 23, 1951 in Ogden, IL and were the parents of Steven Rogers of Ogden, IL; Janette (husband: Glenn) Green of Village Grove, IL; and Carol Rogers of Danville, IL. She married Glen Miller on November 21, 1971 in Decatur, IL and were the parents of Cynthia Neeley (husband: Brandon) of Savoy, IL. He preceded her in death on September 7, 1998.
Anne was employed as the librarian for Ogden Rose Library for over 20 years. For the past 7 years she worked at the Immanuel Sr. Residence as assistant manager. She was a lifetime member of the Ogden United Methodist Church. Anne enjoyed sewing, knitting, reading and tole painting.

Anne was preceded in death by her husband, Glen, infant brother, Stanley Alsip, and a grandson, Robbie Bailey.
A memorial service will be held at Ogden United Methodist Church on Saturday, February 28, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Mark Sllatte officiating. Interment will be at Danville National Cemetery in Danville, IL at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Fund.
