Louise Barnhart

Louise (Stout) Barnhart, age 80 of Williamsport, died at 11:20 p.m. Saturday, February 28, 2009 at The Waters of Williamsport. Louise was born in Covington, IN on October 31, 1928. She was the daughter of James Lee and Eva (Kirby) Stout. She was a 1947 graduate of Covington High School. Since 1948 she had been a resident of Williamsport. On September 14, 1948 she married Leroy E. Barnhart in Williamsport. He survives. Louise was a mother and homemaker and helped her husband on the family farm. She also worked at the Warren County Home for 7 years retiring in 1996. She was a member of the Williamsport Christian Church where she taught Sunday School for 20 years. She loved her family gatherings and her grandchildren. She also enjoyed cooking and gardening. Louise was an avid mushroomer. Surviving are, 5 sons, Stephen L. Barnhart of Fortville, IN; Rick Barnhart (wife: Carla) of Lafayette, IN; Mike Barnhart (wife: Lori) of Williamsport, IN; Jeffery W. Barnhart (wife: Candie) of Williamsport, IN; and Kevin Scott Barnhart of Crawfordsville, IN; 1 brother, James “Bud” L. Stout, Jr. of Perrysville, IN and 1 sister, Lorraine McIntosh (husband: Jerry) of Palatine, IL; 11 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren. Louise was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers, Gerald L. Stout, Harold L. Stout, Donald R. Stout and an infant sister. Visitation will be at Grady Funeral Home in Williamsport on Tuesday, March 3, 2009 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. EST. Services will be on Wednesday, March 4, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. EST. at the Williamsport Christian Church, 20 E Third Street, with Rev. Don Williams officiating. Interment will be at Highland Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Williamsport Christian Church Family Life Center Fund.
