Frances “Bodene” L. (Hinton) Ware, age 83 of the Valley, died at 4:07 p.m. on Monday, October 19, 2015 at IU Health in Lafayette, IN.
Frances was born in Greenhill, IN on December 25, 1931. She was the daughter of Elmer and Hettie (Gray) Hinton. She was a graduate of West Lebanon High School and resided in Warren County most of her life. On February 24, 1979 she married Larry Ware. He survives.
Frances worked as a cashier for various places and most recently as a dispatcher for the Attica police department. She attended the Williamsport Christian Church and was a member of the Attica Eagles Lodge #2596. She was an avid Auburn football fan and enjoyed doing anything that related to her family.
Surviving are, 3 sons, Richard Black (Susan) of Birmingham, AL, Michael Black of West Lebanon, IN, and David Black (Linda) of Oxford, IN; 5 daughters, Pam Krzystof (John) of Tab, IN, Chery Durako (Jim) of West Lebanon, IN, Vicki Farrar of West Lebanon, IN, Terresa Hartman (Kurt) of Attica, IN, and Kim Munson(Burke) of Pine Village, IN; 21 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
Frances was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Glenn Hinton, and sister, Norma Smith.
Visitation will be at Grady Funeral Home in Williamsport on Friday, October 23, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. until service time at 8:00 p.m. with Pastor Don Williams officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Benton County Special Needs, Inc. (for Special Olympics).
