Gerald “Jerry” M. Jackowick of Marshfield, IN, age 79, died at 2:35 p.m. on Sunday, November 8, 2015 at Hospice House of Cape Coral.
Jerry was born in Madison, WI on February 13, 1936. He was the son of Percy and Margaret (Anderson) Jackowick. He attended Rice Lake High School in Rice Lake, WI. He also lived in Logansport, IN and Milwaukee, WI. He met his beloved wife, mother of 2 children, while in Chicago, 1961. He lived in Chicago, IL until becoming a resident of Marshfield.
Jerry retired in 1988 from Northwest Supply Co. as a truck driver. He was a member of the Williamsport United Methodist Church. He enjoyed tinkering and reselling. He was a diehard Green Bay Packers fan and enjoyed time with close friends.
Surviving are, son, Eric B. Jackowick of Chicago, IL; daughter, Heather A. Jackowick of Fort Myers, FL; and 1 grandson, David Michelberger (Jackowick). Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, twin, Harold Jackowick, and twins, Leo and Leon Jackowick, wife, Pat (Macnamee) Jackowick and partner, Betty “Boop” Ann Killian.
Visitation will be at Grady Funeral Home in West Lebanon on Saturday, November 14, 2015 beginning at noon with service to follow at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Cathy McCoy officiating. Interment will follow at West Lebanon Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hope Hospice House of Cape Coral.
