Barry J. Gastineau

Barry J. Gastineau, age 57 of Williamsport, IN died at 2:59 p.m. on Monday, December 14, 2015 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. Barry was born on October 10, 1958 in Lafayette, IN. He was the son of the late James M. and Louzella (Claunch) Gastineau. He was a 1977 graduate of Seeger High School and attended Brown Institute in Minneapolis where he studied broadcasting. When he left Minneapolis he moved to Dickenson, NC, Southern CA, Kirksville, MO, Topeka, KS and Atlanta, GA where he retired due to health reasons in 2009. At his retirement he returned to Williamsport. Barry enjoyed stand up comedy, late night TV, music and football. Surviving are, 1 sister, Sharyn Elaine Engelbrecht (husband: Ted) of Westfield, IN; 1 brother, James Wayne Gastineau (wife: Marion) of West Lafayette, IN; and nephew and nieces, Bryan Engelbrecht (wife: Shannon), Amie Trahin (husband: Josh) and Tami Gastineau Girlfriend, Debra Rampey Visitation will be at Grady Funeral Home in Williamsport, IN on Saturday, December 19, 2015 from noon until service time at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. John T. Adams officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Williamsport United Methodist Church Food Pantry.
