David Vern Messick

David Vern Messick, age 56 of West Lebanon, IN died at 12:04 p.m. on Sunday, January 3, 2016 at his residence. David was born near San Diego, CA on February 21, 1959. He was the son of Ernie E. and Eiko H. (Higa) Messick. He was a 1977 graduate of Seeger High School. He lived in West Lebanon most of his life. David was currently working at Hose Technology as a welder. He was a kind hearted man. He was a San Francisco 49’ers fan and enjoyed Nascar and the 80’s music. Surviving are, father, Ernie E. Messick of the Davao, Philippines; daughter, Brittany L. Messick of West Lebanon, IN; and 2 sisters, Maria Widmar and Judy Benedict. David was preceded in death by his mother, Eiko Messick. Visitation will be at Grady Funeral Home in West Lebanon, IN on Friday, January 8, 2016 from 5:00 until service time at 8:00 p.m. with Father Ambrose Ziegler officiating.
