Gregory "Greg" Lee Rolan

Gregory “Greg” Lee Rolan, age 63, of Williamsport, IN died at 4:58 p.m. on Monday, February 29, 2016 at his residence after a recent heart attack. Greg was born in Lafayette, IN on March 21, 1952. He was the son of Robert Lee and Lois Maxine (Trott) Rolan. He graduated from Williamsport High School in 1970 and attended the School of Mortuary Science in Indianapolis. After leaving Williamsport he ran funeral homes in both Fowler, IN and Oxford, IN. He married Gail Ann Watson in 1970 and later married Jan Payne in 1990. Greg was a member of the Williamsport Christian Church. He loved the outdoors and had a passion for the Wabash River. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a music lover, enthusiast and collector. Surviving are, mother, Lois Rolan of Williamsport, IN; 3 children, Nikki Phillips (Jeff) of Indian Rocks Beach, FL, Heather King of West Lafayette, IN, and Amanda Lauser (John) of Centreville, VA; sister, Lisa Rolan Swanson (Randy) of Attica, IN; and 6 grandchildren. Greg was preceded in death by his father. Visitation will be at Grady Funeral Home in Williamsport on Friday, March 4, 2016 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Services will be there in the chapel on Saturday, March 5, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Don Williams officiating. Interment will be at a later date at Highland Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association.
