Kevin Scott Mycroft

Kevin Scott Mycroft, age 54 of Haughton, LA died on Tuesday, March 15, 2016. Kevin was born in Danville, IL on April 14, 1961. He was the son Elroy “Bob” Mycroft and Sue (Sexton) Mycroft Crawford. He graduated from Seeger High School in 1979. After High School he joined the Air Force where he served until his retirement in January 1999 as a Sergeant First Class. Kevin was currently working civil service on the Barksdale Air Force Base in Louisiana. He enjoyed mushroom hunting and playing cards. He liked to watch Nascar, especially Jeff Gordon, and college football. Surviving are, mother, Sue Crawford of Williamsport, IN; brother, J. Steven Ransom, nephew, Romano, 3 great-nephews, and 2 great-great-nieces all of Amsterdam, the Netherlands, and sister, Michelle Lary of Danville, IL; aunt & uncle, Judy & Jack Jackson of West Lebanon; and several cousins. Kevin was preceded in death by his father, Bob Mycroft, stepfather, Frank Crawford, brother, Mark Ransom, and brother-in-law, Peter Lary. Visitation will be at Grady Funeral Home in Williamsport on Monday, March 21, 2016 from 12:00 until service time at 2:00 p.m. with Pastors Cathy McCoy and Duane Mycroft officiating. Interment will follow at West Lebanon Cemetery with full military honors. Memorial contributions may be made to the Williamsport UMC Food Pantry.
