Jerold Dean Lowery

Jerold Dean Lowery, age 60 of Portland Arch, IN passed away at 4:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at his residence. Jerold was born on November 5, 1955 in Crawfordsville, IN. He was the son of Daniel E. and Mary M. (Hughey) Lowery. He attended Covington School and lived in Fountain County most of his life. He had been with his wife, Pam Wilkerson Lowery, for 37 years. Jerold worked at Fountain Foundry for 34 years, retiring in 2008. He enjoyed collecting coins, fishing, riding his motorcycle and watching NASCAR. Spending time with his family was his real passion. Surviving are, mother, Mary Lowery of Veedersburg, IN; wife, Pam Lowery of Portland Arch, IN; children, Jerold D. Lowery, Jr. of Johnson City, NY, Sabrina Shackelford (Chris) of Covington, IN and Jason Lowery (Regina) of Attica, IN; and 5 grandchildren, Cassandra Shackelford, Daniel Wilson, Emily Shackelford, Zoey Lowery, Cade Lowery. Jerold was preceded in death by his father and 2 brothers, Frank Lowery and Gerald W. Lowery, Sr. Visitation will be at Grady Funeral Home in Williamsport, IN on Saturday, March 26, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Richard Stoll officiating. Interment will be at Kennekuk Cemetery in Danville, IL at a later date.
