Olive Emily (Watson) Brown

Olive Emily (Watson) Brown, age 97 of Plymouth, IN died at 9:07 p.m. on Monday May 9, 2016. Olive was born on March 2, 1919 in Warren County, IN. She was the daughter of Ray and Elsie (Roe) Watson. She was a resident of Warren County over 50 years before moving to Plymouth, IN. She was a 1937 graduate of Williamsport High School and worked for Indiana Bell before her retirement. On May 5, 1937 she married Clem “Bud” Brown. He preceded her in death. Olive was a member of the Pence United Methodist Church and the OES where she had served as past worthy matron. Olive enjoyed sewing. Surviving are, 3 children, Jim Brown (Dee) of Plymouth, IN, Richard L. Brown (Irma Jean) of West Lafayette, IN and Bill Brown (Theresa) of Phoenix, AZ; 7 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren. Olive was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother, Kenny Watson, sister, Beatrice Wolfe, and great-granddaughter, Casey Brown. Visitation will be at Grady Funeral Home in Williamsport on Saturday, May 14, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Charles B. Anderson officiating. Interment will follow at Jordan Cemetery at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Jordan Cemetery or Center Hospice.
