Donna M. (White) Simonton, age 75 of West Lebanon, IN died at 8:10 p.m. on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at Williamsport Nursing & Rehabilitation. Donna was born on November 25, 1940 in Danville, IL. She was the daughter of Herman V. and Erma M. (Williams) White. She married Walter Dale Simonton on April 18, 1964 at the Galloway Chapel and he survives. She was a lifelong resident of Warren County and a 1960 graduate of Seeger High School. Donna operated the Hanging Rock Cafe and later worked at Steel Grip in Covington, IN. She was a member of Attica Christian Church. Donna made world famous peanut butter fudge. Surviving with her husband, Walter, are 4 children, Sheila Sharp of Speedway, IN, Debbie Merrill (Ron) of Goldsboro, NC, Penny Simonton of Washington Courthouse, OH, and Walter “Scott” Simonton (Jennifer) of Williamsport, IN; 2 sisters, Thelma and Dorothy; 14 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren. Donna was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Marge Rogers and Theta Hastings, grandson, Jordan Baer, grandchild, Baby Simonton, and son-in-law, Richard Sharp. Visitation will be at Grady Funeral Home in Williamsport on Tuesday, November 1, 2016 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. Services will be there in the chapel on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Bob Elness officiating. Interment will follow at West Lebanon Cemetery.
