C.V. White

C.V. White, age 83 of West Lebanon, IN died at 7:27 a.m. on Sunday, November 6, 2016 at his residence. C.V. was born in Marshfield, IN on March 14, 1933. He was the son of Samuel and Reatha (Bush) White. He was a 1951 graduate of West Lebanon High School and was a Warren County resident most of his life. On October 14, 1960 he married Donna Kay Asbury. She preceded him in death on January 5, 2010. C.V. worked as a foreman for the Central Laborers Union of Urbana Local #703 and after retirement he worked for local farmers. He liked to go mushrooming and deer hunting. He was a devoted IU basketball fan and St. Louis Cardinal baseball fan. Surviving are, 3 children, Kenny White (fiancé: Christina Kihlstrand) of Williamsport, IN, Kevin White (Jami) of West Lebanon, IN, and Kyle White (Mindi) of Williamsport, IN; 2 siblings, Walter White (Earlene) of West Lebanon, IN and Barbara Bell of Crawfordsville, IN; and 5 grandchildren, Brittany Steele (D.J.), Courtney White, Kenzie Wehner (Jonathan), Chandler White, and Kiley White.  C.V. was preceded in death by his parents, wife, 3 siblings, and daughter-in-law, Sandra Lucas White.  Visitation will be at Grady Funeral Home in Williamsport on Thursday, November 10, 2016 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Services will be there in the chapel on Friday, November 11, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. with Minister Bruce Thornsbrough officiating. Interment will follow at West Lebanon Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Seeger Athletic Boosters.
