Betty N. (Wertz) Millburg

Betty N. (Wertz) Millburg, age 80 of Attica, IN died at 2:10 am on Friday, October 9, 2009 at Clarian Arnett Hospital in Lafayette, IN. Betty was born in Williamsport, IN on July 25, 1929 and was the daughter of Herschel J. and Lela (Keller) Wertz. She was a 1947 graduate of Williamsport High School. On July 14, 1950 she married Charles G. Millburg and he survives. She was a lifelong resident of Warren County. Betty had worked at Purdue University and RMC, Attica. She attended the Williamsport United Methodist Church. Betty liked to crochet, garden, and sketch. She loved to read and sing. Surviving with her husband, Charles, are 5 children, Charles D. Millburg (wife: Janie), Rebecca Jo Jones, Robin D. Rich (husband: Mike), Carl “Gus” Millburg (wife: Cindy), and Peter S. Millburg (wife: Pat); 1 sister, Maxine Stewart; 1 brother, Kenneth Wertz (wife: Betty); 11 grandchildren and 2 step-grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren and 6 step-great-grandchildren. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, 1 sister, Doris Pugh. Visitation will be at Grady Funeral Home in Williamsport from 1:00 until 1:45 pm on Monday, October 12, 2009. Graveside services will follow at 2:00 pm at Riverside Cemetery in Attica, IN with Rev. Charles B. Anderson officiating.
