James E. Price

James E. Price, age 73 of Williamsport, died at 8:46 pm on Friday, October 30, 2009 at the St. Vincent Williamsport Hospital. James was born in Lodi, IN on May 29, 1936. He was the son of the late Garnet and Mable (Armour) Price. He attended Pine Village School and was a lifelong resident of Warren County. He married Alta Norene Cox on December 1, 1962 at the Hedrick Assembly of God Church. She preceded him in death on February 19, 2005. James served in the Army. He was a member of the Hedrick Assembly of God, the Moose Lodge #1482, Eagles, and VFW Post 3318 all of Attica. He enjoyed fishing, mushroom hunting, watching westerns and war movies, and family cookouts. Surviving are, 2 children, Lorie Maynard of Williamsport and Steven Price (wife: Jenny) of Gessie, IN; 1 sister, Helen Gosser of West Lebanon; 4 grandchildren, Tasha Nicole and Larry James Maynard and Justine Breonna and Justin Wayne Price. James was preceded in death by an infant brother, Larry Dean Price, and 3 sons, James Lee, Larry Gene and Dwayne Price. Visitation will be at Grady Funeral Home in Williamsport on Wednesday, November 4, 2009 from 1:00 p.m. until the funeral service at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Harold Varner officiating. Interment will be at West Lebanon Cemetery with full military honors.
