Donna Kay (Asbury) White

Donna Kay (Asbury) White, age 68 of rural Williamsport, died at 8:06 am on Tuesday, January 5, 2010 at her residence. Donna was born in Williamsport, IN on February 20, 1941. She was the daughter of Ralph and Dorothy (Bannon) Asbury. She was a 1959 graduate of West Lebanon High School. She was a Warren County resident all of her life. On October 14, 1960 she married Clair V. “C.V.” White. They had been married 49 years. He survives. Donna worked at St. Vincent Williamsport Hospital as a surgery and central supply technician retiring in 2006. She was a member of the Past and Future of West Lebanon Committee. Donna liked to play cards and bingo, and enjoyed traveling. She loved her grandkids, family and friends. Surviving with her husband, are 3 sons, Kenny White and Kevin White (wife: Jami) both of West Lebanon, IN and Kyle White (wife: Mindi) of Tilton, IL; 4 sisters, Karen McEntire of Arizona, Judy Gray (husband: John) of Missouri, and Billie Petro (husband: Dick) and Virginia Petro (husband: Estel) both of West Lebanon, IN; 1 brother, John Asbury of Thorntown, IN; and 5 grandchildren, Brittany, Courtney, Kenzie, Chandler and Kiley White. Donna was preceded in death by her parents, 1 brother, Charles Asbury, 1 sister, Wanda Mills, and a daughter-in-law, Sandra (Lucas) White. Visitation will be at the West Lebanon Christian Church on Friday, January 8, 2010 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Services will be at the church on Saturday, January 9, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. with Minister Bruce Thornsbrough officiating. Interment will be at West Lebanon Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Vincent Hospital Guild.
