Denny E. Davis, age 60 of Williamsport died at 5:15 pm, on Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at St. Vincent Williamsport Hospital. Denny was born on September 28, 1949 in Berea, OH. He was the son of Arnet Earl and Joyce A. (Sells) Davis. Denny was a 1968 graduate of Williamsport High School and Missouri Auction School in 2005. He lived and farmed near Perrysville at the Tree Spring Farm moving back to Williamsport in 1994. Denny married Vicki Lee VanReed on December 16, 1967 in Williamsport. She survives. Denny was a salesman at Birkey’s Farm Store since 1994. He was a co-owner of AXSELLZ Auctioneering with Craig Stalter and Shad Meadows. He was a member of the Williamsport Christian Church. He was a member of the F & AM Lodge # 315 Pine Village, Ansar Shrine Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite, and Attica Eagles. He was an avid International toy tractor collector. His family always came first and he especially loved his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Surviving with his wife, Vicki, are his mother, Joyce Davis of Williamsport; 3 sons, Tony Davis (wife: Jessica) of Williamsport, IN, Chris Davis of Perrysville, IN, and Matt Davis (wife: Ali) of Indianapolis, IN; 2 brothers, Greg Davis of Lexington, KY and Scott Davis (wife: Mary Pat) of Brentwood, TN; 3 grandchildren, Linsay Davis (fiancé: Eric Kincade), Andrea Davis, and Lakyn Davis; and 2 great-grandchildren Logan and Alexis Kincade. Denny was preceded in death by his father, Arnet Earl Davis. Visitation will be at the Williamsport Christian Church on Friday, February 26, 2010 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm. Services will be held there on Saturday, February 27, 2010 at 11:00 am with Rev. Don Williams officiating. Interment will be at Highland Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Williamsport Christian Church, Amazima Ministries-Katie Davis, or the donor’s choice.
