Ronald T. Titus

Ronald T. Titus, 78, of West Lebanon, died 2:16 pm Sunday June 20, 2010 at Clarian Arnett Hospital in Lafayette. He was born July 15, 1931 in Walton IN the son of Clark H. and Lora Helen (Sumsel) Titus. He married Sue Ann Marie Land November 1, 1980. She preceded him in death Dec. 31, 2008. He is also preceded in death by a daughter Lena Rose Titus, a brother, Larry J. Titus, and a grandson, Cory Joe Hopkins. Surviving family include five daughters, Sharon (Ron) Rennick, Williamsport; Becky (Bernie) Briles, West Lafayette; Cheryl (Rodney) Norman, Kingman; Lisa (Ed) Rietz, Williamsport; Missy (Troy) Simonton, Lafayette; two sons, Tim (Dottie) Titus, Kentucky; Clark Titus, Attica; step-daughter, Linda (Keith) Marlatt, West Lebanon; two sisters, Judith C. (Jess) Richardson, Florida; Kay L. O’Conner, Fowler; three brothers, Joe F. (Ava) Titus, Logansport; Dannie C. (Minnie) Titus, Logansport; Richard A. (Lynn) Titus, Elwood; eleven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and two step-grandchildren. Ronald graduated from Onward High School. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a member of the VFW Post # 1134 in Lafayette. He enjoyed bowling, playing euchre, fishing, camping, country & western music, and traveling with his good friend Tom Claypool. Ronald retired from Teepak in 1996. Funeral service will be 1:00 PM Wednesday June 23, 2010 at Grady Funeral Home in West Lebanon with Paul Kent officiating. Visitation will begin at 11:00 am Wednesday and continue until the time of service at the funeral home. Interment will be at West Lebanon Cemetery with full military honors.
