Gary Wayne Reeder

Gary Wayne Reeder died August 17, 2010 at Carle Hospital, Champaign Urbana, Illinois as a result of injuries sustained in a car accident. He was born December 18, 1951 in Danville, Illinois. He lived all of his life with his family in rural Williamsport, Indiana. Gary’s accomplishments weren’t involved in the traditional realm of job and children, as is the case with most of us, but never the less they were just as important. He thrived under the loving care of his parents. His good cheer and friendship surely affected the lives of all of us who had the good fortune of knowing him. He never complained and he never demanded. For the short time he was in this world, it was a better place. His gifts to us were eternal devotion and unconditional love. Gary was preceded in death by his father, Claude Reeder. He is survived by his mother Ilo Mae Reeder, his sister Marcia Gallippi, his nephew Gabriel Gallippi, and his brother-in-law Robert Gallippi. Visitation will be at Grady Funeral Home in Williamsport on Sunday, August 22, 2010 from 1:00 p.m. until service time at 3:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Jordan Cemetery in Pence, IN. Memorial donations may be made to the Adult Down Syndrome Center or to the donor’s choice.
