Patricia "Pat" R. (Lambert) Stanley

Patricia “Pat” R. (Lambert) Stanley, age 74 of Fishers, IN, formerly of Champaign, IL, died at 8:27 p.m. on Wednesday, August 11, 2010 at Community Hospital North in Indianapolis, IN. Pat was born on March 17, 1936 in Corpus Christi, TX. She was the daughter of William “Bill” and Ella (Mitchell) Lambert. She was a graduate of Centralia High School. She married Gary Lee Stanley, Sr. on July 13, 1963 in Mt. Vernon, IL. He survives. Pat grew up in Central City, IL and moved to Chicago after high school. In 1965 she moved to Oklahoma and then moved to Mattoon and Champaign, IL. She had resided in Fishers since 1990. Pat was a member of Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM), First Baptist Church in Savoy, IL, and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary Lafayette. She loved to work and spend time with her family. Surviving with her husband are, 1 son, Gary Lee Stanley, II, (wife: Lisa) of rural Williamsport, 1 daughter, Carla Jo Jones of Battle Creek, MI, sister, Merle Reeves of Champaign, IL, brothers, Roy H. Lambert (wife: Pat) of Vero Beach, FL, Bobby J. Lambert (wife: Judy) of Fishers, IN, and Charles Lambert of Florida, 7 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren. Pat was preceded in death by brothers, Bill Lambert, Jr. and John E. Lambert, and sister, Anna Mae Gramlick. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 4, 2010 at the West Lebanon Christian Church. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until service time at noon with Minister Bruce Thornsbrough officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the West Lebanon Christian Church.
