Abigail "Abby" Marie Donaldson Martin

Abigail (Abby) Marie Donaldson (Martin) peacefully passed away in Williamsport, IN, on Wednesday, September 28, surrounded by her family after a prolonged illness. Abby was born in Sullivan County on May 3, 1989. She was raised in Jasonville, Indiana, and attended Shakamak High School. Abby was baptized into the Body of Christ when she was a teenager and was confident that she was leaving this earth to be joined with Jesus Christ in heaven. Abby is survived by her father, David Donaldson, her mother, Angela (Borders) McLaughlin, and her children, Blake, Hazel, and Zora. Alleah McLaughlin, sister. Her grandparents, Robert and Miriam Borders of Jasonville, Wally and Josie Ridgely of Jasonville. Her aunts and uncles are Brad and Ann Burns of Marshall, IL; Rob and Christine Solomon of Brazil, IN; Elsie Kay Gardner of Brazil, IN; Courtney Hutchinson of Jasonville, IN; Pat and Jan Gilbert of Lewis, IN. Abby is also survived by many friends, including her best friend, Carrie Sargent of Williamsport, and numerous cousins and extended family. She was well-loved and will be greatly missed by all of those who knew her. Her grandparents, Deanna McKinney and Frank Hutchinson, preceded Abby in death. Abby enthusiastically loved her children, friends, and family. She had a contagious laugh and a zeal for life. She loved spending time with her children. Abby loved socializing, dining out, eating seafood and sweets, and fishing. She was known for her stubborn tenacity and determination, and these attributes served her well. She has “fought the good fight, she has finished the race, and she remained faithful.” 2 Timothy 4:7 The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m until the Celebration of Life service on Sunday, October 2, 2022 at 3:30 p.m. at Lawton Street Christian Church in Jasonville, Indiana.
