Alice June (Wilson) Odle

Alice June Odle, age 73 of Boswell, IN, passed away at her daughter’s home in Hillsboro on February 25, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.

Alice June was born on June 25, 1950 in Attica, IN. She was the daughter of Ira Emerson and Alice Evelyn (Hathaway) Wilson. Alice June graduated from Williamsport High School in 1968. She attended Ivy Tech and also graduated from the St. Elizabeth School of Nursing. Alice June married William Joseph Odle on December 7, 2001 in Hoopeston, IL and he survives.

Alice June worked at St. Elizabeth Hospital in the dialysis unit as a dialysis RN for 25 years and then retired. Following her retirement, she worked for Fresenius Dialysis as a dialysis RN.

Alice June was an avid horseback riding enthusiast. She raised, showed and bred Tennessee Walking Horses and miniature horses. Alice June loved to camp and go riding with her family and friends.

Alice June was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church in Lafayette Indiana.

Alice June is survived by her husband, William “Billy” Odle; 2 daughters and their husbands, Michele and Jimmy Penry and Katrina and Joseph Bone; 4 step-daughters and 1 step son; 3 brothers and their wives, Ira Lee Wilson, Jack and Diana Wilson, and Rex and Rhonda Wilson. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Alice June is preceded in death by her parents and  2 sisters, Deloris Jean Miles and Julia Diane (Wilson) Campbell.

Visitation will be at Grady Funeral Home in Williamsport on Friday, March 8, 2024 from 12:00 p.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m. Inurnment will follow at Highland Cemetery.
