Billie Sue (Day) Alexander, age 72 of Watseka, IL, passed away at 4:15 p.m. on Friday, October 29, 2021 at Watseka Rehabilitation and Healthcare. Billie was born on August 8, 1949 in Harlan, KY. She was the daughter of Dillard and Maggie Sue (Farley) Day. Billie attended schools in Harlan, KY and later became a Certified Nursing Assistant. She married Clarence Robert Jones in 1964 and they divorced. Billie Married Allen Paul “Red” Alexander on August 17, 1979 in Kankakee, IL and he preceded her in death on November 5, 2005. Billie had lived in Danville, IL for several years. She lived in West Lebanon, IN from 2002 until moving to Attica in 2012. She lived in Attica, IN until moving to Westville, IL in 2015, living briefly in Danville, IL. Billie moved to Watseka, IL in 2017 and had resided there since. She worked as a waitress and Certified Nursing Assistant in Danville, IL. Billie enjoyed jigsaw puzzles and word searches. Surviving are, 3 sons, Bobby Jones Jr. of FL, Cordie Jones (companion: Julie Zabelka) of Danville, IL, and Michael Jones of Danville, IL; 1 daughter, Crystal Alexander of Westville, IL; 2 brothers, Maynard Day of Harlan, KY and Dillard Day Jr. of Harlan, KY; 5 grandchildren; Bethany Issac, Jordan Jones, Rylane Winchester, Dallas Hallet, and Violet Jones; 2 great-grandchildren; Several loving nieces and nephews Billie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Red; daughter, April Crusenberry; 4 sisters, and 6 brothers A graveside service and inurnment will be at West Lebanon Cemetery on Monday, November 15, 2021 at 11:00 EST (Indiana) time with Pastor Mark Phipps officiating.
